A Japanese porcelain vase cover dating to the Meiji period, decorated in the Imari palette.
The domed cover is painted with floral sprays in underglaze blue, iron red, and gilt over a pale celadon-toned glaze.
The finial is modeled as a seated Foo Lion with molded details and iron red accents.
