DESCRIPTION

Chinese porcelain ginger jar cover decorated in the Famille Jaune palette.
The domed top features a large pink and white peony blossom with green foliage on a bright yellow ground.
A turquoise border with scrolling decoration encircles the side.
The cover has undergone old restoration with several visible repaired breaks.
Suitable as a replacement lid, study piece, or decorative example of Chinese export porcelain.
