The underside bears the crossed swords mark in blue underglaze, denoting authentic Meissen manufacture. This example also shows traditional staple repair (metal rivets), a valued historical restoration method practiced in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Collector’s Notes: The Blue Onion design was introduced by Meissen around 1739 and became one of Europe’s most enduring porcelain patterns.
