Formed from fine light blue with contrasting black and white enamel bands, it displays the patented Mosaic pattern typical of mid-19th century design. The handle, modelled as a stylized branch, adds sculptural charm to the form.

Collector’s Notes: The Dudson family of potters, established in 1800, were known for their refined stonewares inspired by Wedgwood’s Jasper. This jug is an attractive example of English Neo-Classical revival taste in utilitarian ware. A similar piece appears in museum and design archives as part of the Dudson historical collection. 🔍 Condition
