DESCRIPTION

Delicate Chinese hexagonal porcelain bowl decorated in famille rose enamels with various butterflies and flowering plants.

The exterior features finely painted insects with subtle gilt accents against a pale ground.

A bright turquoise glaze covers the interior and recessed base, providing an attractive contrast to the exterior decoration.

The base bears an iron-red six-character Tongzhi mark within a recessed hexagonal panel.

An elegant example of late Qing decorative porcelain with appealing naturalistic motifs.
