DESCRIPTION
A Chinese blue and white porcelain plate dating to the Kangxi period.The central design shows a peony bloom beside bamboo issuing from rockwork.The cavetto is bordered with a fine repeating motif, with floral sprays on the rim.The plate has a softly lobed edge, typical of export wares of this period.The reverse is simply glazed with an unmarked foot rim.
