DESCRIPTION

Charming Chinese porcelain hexagonal bowl decorated in famille rose enamels.

The exterior features lively goldfish swimming among aquatic plants and lotus blossoms, rendered in delicate iron-red, green, and yellow enamels.

The interior and recessed base are covered in an attractive turquoise glaze, creating a striking contrast with the exterior decoration.

The base bears an iron-red six-character Tongzhi mark within a recessed panel.

A decorative and appealing example of late Qing porcelain with traditional aquatic symbolism.
