DESCRIPTION

Elegant Chinese Export porcelain tea bowl and saucer dating to the Qianlong period.
Both pieces are decorated with matching sepia harbor or shipyard landscape medallions framed by rich cobalt blue and gilt borders.
The scalloped rims are enhanced with delicate blue and gilt ornament, creating a refined and balanced design.
A desirable matching export tea service set made for the American market during the late 18th century.
