Striking Chinese Peking Glass snuff bottle with a vivid Red Overlay carved in relief with scrolling Chilong dragons. The bottle has a metal collar at the mouth and an incised Four-Character Mark within an oval reserve to the base. The translucent red overlay contrasts beautifully against the clear ground, highlighting the carved decoration.

Collector’s Notes: Overlay Peking Glass is admired for its jewel-like color and sculptural carving, echoing the look of carved hardstones and lacquer. The Chilong (hornless dragon) is an auspicious motif associated with protection, vitality, and status.
