DESCRIPTION

Chinese porcelain ginger jar cover decorated in the Famille Noire palette.
The domed top features flowering prunus branches, peony blooms and fruit against a black ground.
Finely detailed enamel colors include pink, white, green and orange tones.
A gilt chain pattern decorates the lower border above the white porcelain rim.
An attractive replacement lid or display piece for collectors of Chinese export porcelain.
