📜 Description
A finely carved antique Chinese wooden stand. This diminutive piece features a traditional pierced scrollwork
apron with four integral legs, supporting a recessed platform for a scholar’s object, snuff bottle, or small
porcelain item.
The wood exhibits a deep reddish-brown tone with a naturally aged patina, slightly dry to the touch, with
areas.

Collector’s Notes:
Late wooden stands like this were often carved from a variety of native hardwoods, not necessarily precious
rosewood. While not hongmu, this piece offers an authentic, traditional appearance ideal for contextual display. It
reflects the scholar’s taste for simplicity, elegance, and craftsmanship without the need for grand material value.

🔍 Condition GOOD ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) – Light wear, and age surface marks. Please review the photos carefully for more
details.
