DESCRIPTION

Porcelain gaiwan cover decorated with three stylized red and gilt goldfish.
The center features a colorful floral medallion in green, yellow, and black enamels.
Finished with a decorative black border around the rim.
Marked W.L. Decorated in Hong Kong to the underside.
An attractive mid to late 20th century example of export porcelain decoration.

COLLECTOR’S NOTE

Hong Kong decorated porcelains were produced for both local and export markets during the 20th century.
