This expressive studio pottery chalice is hand-thrown and richly textured, featuring a deeply impressed organic relief pattern running vertically around the bowl. The glaze displays variegated earthy hues of ochre, rust, and dark brown, characteristic of mid-century British studio pottery. The piece’s sculptural surface and hand-built feel give it an almost Brutalist or organic modernist presence.
