📜 Description
A charming English Worcester porcelain plate, finely painted with a bird among flowering reeds and foliage in
naturalistic tones. The border is simply edged in gilt, typical of the refined work from the Padmore & Derbyshire
period at Fort Royal Hill, Worcester. The decoration reflects the late Victorian fascination with natural subjects.

Collector’s Notes:
The firm Padmore & Derbyshire operated at the Fort Royal Hill works in Worcester from around 1970 to 1980.
Their high-quality wares are known for hand-painted bird and floral motifs, comparable to examples sold by
Bonhams and other leading auction houses.

🔍 Condition FAIR/RESTORED ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) – Repaired crack with staple restoration on the back and visible staining. Rim
