🅂 Subject Black enamel ground with polychrome peony and blossom decoration in overglaze enamels. 🏷️ Marked Stamped ENGLAND with painter’s mark; typical of late 19th century export wares.

📜 Description Charming English porcelain teapot with a black enamel glaze, hand-painted with vibrant peonies and
floral sprays. The handle and spout are modelled in naturalistic tree-branch form with a warm tan
tone. The vivid color palette and fine brushwork recall late Victorian Art Pottery aesthetics.

Collector’s Notes: These teapots were inspired by both Chinese famille noire and Aesthetic Movement styles popular in
England around 1880–1900. Highly collectible for their bold contrast and decorative appeal.
