๐Ÿ“œ Description
๐Ÿ’กย Note:ย Lid only โ€“ base teapot not included.

A finely potted 19th-century English porcelain lid or cover, attributed to Grainger Worcester, beautifully hand-painted with a garland of rose blooms in soft pink and red tones. The florals are interwoven with delicate trailing gilt foliate tendrils, all set against a warm cream ground with a shaped gilt border around the rim.
This domed lid likely once belonged to a covered potpourri jar, vase, or small tureen and is a lovely example of the detailed enamel and gilding work typical of Worcesterโ€™s smaller boutique factories in the Victorian period.

๐Ÿงง Collector’s Note
Grainger & Co. Worcester operated independently until it joined the Royal Worcester group in 1889. Known for refined neoclassical and floral designs, their wares are now highly sought after by collectors of English porcelain.
