📜 Description
An authentic 18th century Dutch Delftware trumpet-shaped vase in Blue & White Porcelain. The body is finely decorated with floral cartouches, scrolling foliage, and architectural landscape scenes, reflecting the strong influence of Chinese export porcelain on Delft production. The elegant trumpet form with flared rim is characteristic of decorative vases produced in Delft workshops during this period.
Collector’s Notes: Delftware vases from the 18th century are prized for their hand-painted cobalt decoration and historical importance as Europe’s answer to Chinese porcelain. Trumpet-shaped examples were often displayed in pairs and symbolized refinement and prosperity in Dutch interiors.
