DESCRIPTION
A Chinese hardwood display stand of unusual two-tier design dating to the Qing period.
Constructed with open rectangular supports creating elevated display levels of differing heights.
The rich reddish-brown wood displays an attractive grain and aged patina.
Raised on small shaped feet with clean geometric lines and restrained decoration.
Suitable for displaying scholar’s objects, small vases, carvings, or ceramics.
