📜 Description
Elegant Chinese Qianlong period export Porcelain cup decorated in fine Grisaille enamels with a central floral bouquet composition. The exterior features delicately painted flowers and foliage in monochrome tones, enhanced with subtle gilt accents to the flower centers and rim. The rim is finished with a geometric border and gilt band. The handle is sculpted in an elegant form with traces of gilding. The interior is plain glazed.

Collector’s Notes: During the Qianlong reign (1736–1795) of the Qing Dynasty, Chinese export porcelain decorated in grisaille became highly fashionable in Europe. The restrained monochrome palette combined with gilding reflects Western taste of the mid-18th Century. Pieces of this type were often produced for export markets and are appreciated for their refined painting and historical significance.
