CONDITION

GOOD (4/5) – Small chips to the foot rim and light glaze crazing throughout. Minor kiln and firing imperfections consistent with age. No obvious restoration visible in the photographs. Please review the photos carefully for more details.

DESCRIPTION

A finely potted Chinese porcelain baluster vase decorated in rich underglaze cobalt blue on a white ground. The body is covered with elaborate floral sprays and scrolling foliage above stylized rockwork, with a decorative ruyi border encircling the shoulder and geometric band at the neck. The detailed brushwork and balanced proportions make this an attractive display piece.

COLLECTOR’S NOTE

Blue and white porcelain from the Qianlong period remains highly collectible for its refined craftsmanship and decorative appeal. Smaller cabinet vases with dense floral ornamentation are especially appreciated by collectors of Qing export and domestic wares.
