Fine Chinese export porcelain saucer decorated in underglaze blue and iron red Imari enamels. The porcelain has a pale celadon toned glaze typical of early Qianlong export wares. A charming and decorative example of 18th century Chinese porcelain.
COLLECTOR’S NOTE
Chinese Imari porcelain was produced for both domestic and export markets during the Kangxi and Qianlong periods, inspired by Japanese Imari wares popular in Europe. Collectors value these pieces for their vibrant palette, elegant compositions and strong decorative appeal.
