DESCRIPTION

A finely painted Chinese porcelain plate dating to the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty.

The center is decorated with a large famille rose floral composition surrounded by delicate blossoms and stylized foliage.

The shaped rim features alternating floral panels framed by intricate gilt scrollwork.

Soft pink enamels, turquoise accents, and elegant drawing are characteristic of Yongzheng period famille rose wares.

A refined and attractive example of early 18th century Chinese porcelain.
