A refined example of Qing dynasty export porcelain in classic landscape style.
COLLECTOR’S NOTE
Landscape scenes were among the most popular decorative subjects on 18th century Chinese export porcelain, reflecting ideals of harmony, scholarship, and retreat into nature. Pavilion and river compositions appealed strongly to European collectors during the Qianlong period and remain sought after today for their detailed painting and balanced compositions.
