Fine Blue & White Porcelain plate decorated with a classic Hundred Antiques motif, showing auspicious scholar’s
objects arranged on a table setting. The cavetto is finely painted in cobalt blue, framed by a continuous border of
swimming fish and aquatic motifs, a traditional symbol of abundance.

Collector’s Notes: The Hundred Antiques (Ba Bao) theme is strongly associated with the late Qing Dynasty, symbolizing refinement, learning, and prosperity. Plates of this type were admired by scholars and collectors for their cultural symbolism and elegant balance of design. The fish border further reinforces wishes for wealth and harmony, making this a desirable and meaningful collector’s piece.
