CONDITION

FAIR (3/5) – Fine hairline crack extending from the rim on the reverse and minor rim fritting and wear. Age-related enamel and gilt wear, firing specks, and light staining present. Please review the photos carefully for more details.

DESCRIPTION

Chinese export porcelain deep plate decorated in the Famille Verte palette with colorful floral sprays and butterflies.

The scalloped rim is enriched with iron-red latticework panels and floral reserves surrounding a central floral sprig.

Painted in bright iron-red, green, yellow, blue, and pink enamels on a white porcelain ground.

The elegant border arrangement reflects decorative styles popular during the Kangxi period for both domestic and export markets.
