DESCRIPTION

Delicate Chinese porcelain saucer decorated in famille rose enamels on a white ground. The interior is painted with scattered floral sprays including pink peonies, small blossoms, and leafy stems in finely detailed enamels. An iron red border frames the rim with a repeating scalloped pattern. The reverse remains plain with characteristic kiln speckling to the base. A refined example of early Qing export porcelain.

COLLECTOR’S NOTE

Yongzheng period famille rose porcelains are admired for their elegant forms and soft enamel palette. Small floral compositions such as these were produced for both domestic and export markets during the 18th century. Collectors value these wares for their delicate painting and understated decorative style.
