📜 Description This antique Chinese porcelain ginger jar cover features the elegant Prunus blossom motif on a deep cobalt ground with a cracked-ice pattern—symbolizing purity and renewal. Produced during the Kangxi period of the Qing dynasty, it exemplifies the fine blue-and-white ware exported to Europe in the 18th – 19th century.

Collector’s Notes: Lids from Kangxi jars are highly desirable as replacement pieces or display items. The prunus motif was a popular decorative element on export porcelain, representing resilience and winter beauty in Chinese symbolism.
