DESCRIPTION

Chinese porcelain ginger jar cover decorated in the Famille Rose palette.
The domed top features a stylized lotus flower surrounded by scrolling floral motifs.
A turquoise ground contrasts with pink, white, yellow and green enamels.
The side border is decorated with pink scrollwork reserved against a pale ground.
An attractive decorative example suitable as a replacement lid or study piece.
