DESCRIPTION

Chinese porcelain gaiwan cover decorated in vibrant famille verte enamels.
The design features overlapping cabbage leaves populated by colorful butterflies and insects.
A large stylized Shou character is painted in gilt and iron red within the central recess.
The green enamel ground is enhanced with fine black outlining and detailed brushwork.
An unusual and decorative example of 20th century Chinese export porcelain.
