π Description
A genuine antique Chinese hardwood stand, dating to the late Qing dynasty or early Republic period (circa 1880β1920). Finely turned with a recessed circular top and raised molded edge, this stand is crafted from dense, dark-stained wood and would have originally been used to support porcelain vases, censers, or scholar’s objects.
The underside shows hand-finishing marks typical of the period, with a central lathe recess. One section of the rim is chipped, exposing the lighter wood beneath, but the stand remains stable and perfectly usable from multiple display angles.
