DESCRIPTION

An English porcelain plate decorated in a richly colored Chinese inspired Tobacco Leaf pattern. The design combines large stylized leaves and flowers with smaller scattered blossoms in vivid cobalt blue, pink, orange, yellow and green enamels. Extensive gilt outlining and highlights add depth and richness to the elaborate decoration, while a fine gilt line follows the shaped rim.
