This is a charming New Hall porcelain teapot cover dating to the late 18th century. The piece shows fine hand-painted Chinoiserie-style floral scrollwork in iron-red, green, and puce enamels. The knob is elegantly shaped with a painted pink highlight. Such covers are rare survivors of early English porcelain production, often collected for study and restoration use.

Collector’s Notes: New Hall porcelain was among the first English hard-paste porcelains, combining European formality with Oriental decorative influences.
