DESCRIPTION

An impressive Chinese hardwood display stand dating to the Qing period.
The circular top is designed to support a vase, censer, or scholar’s object.
Finely carved openwork panels feature scrolling foliage and floral motifs beneath ruyi head decoration.
Raised on four elegant curved legs above a pierced lower stretcher with floral design.
The dark patina and intricate carving reflect traditional Chinese decorative craftsmanship.
