πŸ“œ Description
This elegant miniature Porcelain vase is covered in a soft sky-blue Claire de Lune glaze, delicately suffused with subtle tonal variations beneath a glossy surface. The form features a rounded pear-shaped body rising to a gently flared neck with a pale, slightly creamy rim.

The glaze shows natural speckling and kiln effects, with a neatly finished unglazed foot rim and recessed base bearing an underglaze blue stylised leaf mark. The shape reflects refined Qing Dynasty monochrome traditions reproduced in the 20th Century.

Collector’s Notes: Claire de Lune glazes were especially admired during the Kangxi and later Qing Dynasty periods for their serene, luminous blue tone achieved through controlled cobalt in a translucent glaze. Miniature monochrome vases such as this were inspired by scholar’s table wares and remain highly collectible for their understated elegance and refined simplicity.
