DESCRIPTION

Chinese porcelain saucer finely decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with flowering peony sprays and symbolic scholar’s rocks. The interior features delicate floral compositions arranged around angular rockwork motifs, framed by a simple blue border rim. The pale blue-white porcelain body and fluid brushwork are characteristic of Qing dynasty export wares. An elegant and restrained decorative example from the Qianlong period.
