This fine Qianlong period Famille Rose Porcelain plate is delicately painted with a central blooming peony beside bamboo, symbolising wealth, honour, and resilience. The cavetto and rim are decorated with colourful floral sprays, insects, and fruit motifs, finished with a subtle gilt edge typical of the Qing Dynasty court taste.

Collector’s Notes: Famille Rose wares flourished during the Qianlong reign and are prized for their soft enamel palette and refined brushwork. Plates of this size and quality were used both for display and banqueting, and remain highly collectible examples of 18th century Chinese porcelain.
