📜 Description
Fine Chinese Blue & White Porcelain bowl dating to the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The exterior is delicately painted with a continuous scroll of Precious Objects, including a Ruyi Scepter, Brush Pot, feather, axe and stylized Floral motifs, symbolizing scholarly refinement and auspicious blessings.
The interior features a simple central floral spray within double blue line borders, with a decorative band under the rim. The cobalt blue is soft and well-controlled, typical of 18th Century production.
The form is elegant with slightly flared rim and neatly finished foot, consistent with refined tableware of the period.
Collector’s Notes: Blue & White Porcelain from the Qianlong era is highly regarded for its technical refinement and artistic balance. The theme of Precious Objects represents the cultured life of the scholar—symbolizing wisdom, authority, and good fortune.
