📜 Description This decorative Chinese Porcelain plate is finely painted in vibrant Famille Rose enamels. The central scene features a colourful Cockerel standing on rockwork surrounded by blossoming branches and large Peony flowers. The border is decorated with delicate floral motifs and patterned bands in soft pink and green tones.

Collector’s Notes: In traditional Chinese symbolism the Cockerel represents vigilance, good fortune, and prosperity, while the Peony is known as the “king of flowers” symbolizing wealth and honor. Plates decorated in the Famille Rose palette became especially popular from the Qing dynasty onward and remain highly appreciated by collectors for their bright enamel colours and elegant decorative themes.
