DESCRIPTION

Chinese blue and white porcelain plate decorated with elegant floral designs in the Kangxi manner.The center features a stylized flower medallion surrounded by peony blossoms and poppy seed pod motifs connected by scrolling stems.The wide rim is richly decorated with repeating floral sprays and auspicious ornamentation.The reverse shows simple underglaze blue floral sprigs and an unglazed foot rim.Nicely painted example with balanced symmetry and soft cobalt tones throughout.

COLLECTOR’S NOTE
