📜 Description A finely painted Qianlong period Blue & White Chinese export plate featuring a serene river landscape with pavilions, distant mountains, and a fisherman scene. The wide border is decorated with lattice patterns and floral sprays, and the plate is shaped into an elegant faceted/octagonal form typical of mid-18th century export wares.

The piece shows its age and retains the classic soft blue tones characteristic of Qianlong-era underglaze work.

Collector’s Notes: Qianlong export porcelain with landscape decoration was highly appreciated in European markets. The faceted rim and crisp outlines reflect craftsmanship from Jingdezhen kilns at their peak. Landscape scenes were symbolic of peace, retreat, and scholarly ideals — making such plates culturally significant display pieces.
