DESCRIPTION

A Chinese porcelain globular vase decorated in underglaze cobalt blue on a white ground. The body features alternating cartouches with scholarly precious objects, floral arrangements, and stylized auspicious symbols. The rounded form is complemented by a short straight neck and neatly finished foot rim. The decoration is painted in a simplified traditional style inspired by earlier Chinese export porcelains. A decorative modern example suitable for display.
