📜 Description
Classic Blue & White Porcelain ginger jar finely decorated with continuous Lotus Scrolls interspersed with circular floral medallions. The decoration is painted in soft cobalt blue with fluid brushwork, characteristic of Late Qing Dynasty wares. The jar has a well-potted rounded body, a short straight neck, and a recessed base bearing a red wax collector’s seal.

Collector’s Notes: The Lotus is a powerful symbol in Chinese art, representing purity, harmony, and spiritual enlightenment. Blue and white jars with repeating lotus scrolls were popular during the 19th Century for both domestic use and export, and are appreciated by collectors for their timeless design and symbolic meaning.
