DESCRIPTION
A Chinese blue and white porcelain ginger jar decorated with a continuous riverside landscape featuring pavilions, mountains, trees, and small boats. The rounded form is painted in lively underglaze cobalt blue with a traditional decorative border below the neck. The unglazed rim indicates it was originally made with a fitted cover. An attractive example of late Qing export porcelain.
