DESCRIPTION
Finely decorated Chinese porcelain dish featuring a vibrant famille jaune ground.
The interior is divided into reserves containing auspicious antique objects and scholar’s treasures.
A central phoenix medallion is surrounded by scrolling floral and foliate motifs in turquoise, pink, and yellow enamels.
The underside bears an iron red Guangxu reign mark and matching decorative border motifs.
An attractive example of Republic period porcelain inspired by late Qing decorative styles.
