Finely potted Chinese Porcelain tea Cup & Saucer decorated in the celebrated Queen Charlotte pattern, featuring a bold
radiating design in Underglaze Blue with overglaze Iron Red, delicate floral motifs and gilt highlights.
The saucer displays a central floral roundel surrounded by swirling panels, while the cup mirrors the same harmonious
decoration with a finely gilt rim.

Collector’s Notes: This important pattern was produced in China for the European market during the 18th Century and became widely known as the Queen Charlotte pattern after its popularity in England. Identical examples of this design are preserved in the British Museum, confirming its historical significance and desirability. The pattern was also later copied by English factories such as Worcester, making original Chinese export examples especially sought after by collectors.
