COLLECTOR’S NOTE
Reticulated porcelain wares were prized for the technical skill required to create pierced decoration without compromising the vessel’s structure.
Lotus motifs are closely associated with purity and harmony in Chinese decorative arts and are frequently encountered on Qing dynasty export and domestic porcelains.
