π Description Rare Chinese Qing Dynasty Porcelain cup with handle, finely painted in delicate Famille Rose enamels with soft pastel tones and subtle Gilt outlines. The exterior depicts elegant birds among flowering Peony branches in a garden landscape, beneath a finely detailed decorative border at the rim.
Collectorβs Notes: The Yongzheng period is celebrated for its refined aesthetics and sophisticated enamel palette. Handled cups of this type are particularly scarce and were often produced for court taste or special commissions. The peony symbolizes wealth and honor, making this a desirable and highly collectible example despite its noted age-related flaw.
π Condition GOOD βββββ (4/5) β Star-shaped hairline crack close to the handle, approx. 4 cm wide. Typical age-related wear to enamels and gilt. Please review the photos carefully for more details.
