DESCRIPTION
An attractive Chinese porcelain covered box of shaped rectangular form dating to the Qing Dynasty.
Decorated in famille rose enamels with lively equestrian hunting scenes and attendants set within landscape backgrounds.
The cover is surmounted by a finely modeled blue and iron-red Buddhist lion finial.
Delicate gilt motifs decorate the sides, complementing the colorful narrative scenes.
