This elegant Qing Kangxi period Imari porcelain dish is shaped as a chrysanthemum with finely moulded petal
edges. The decoration alternates between rich cobalt blue and iron-red panels, a classic feature of early Chinese
Imari wares. The center features floral sprays characteristic of Kangxi export pieces.

Collector’s Notes:
Chinese Imari wares were highly sought after in Europe during the late 17th–18th century. The chrysanthemum form
was especially prized for its refined moulding and symbolic association with longevity and elegance.
