An elegant and finely potted Chinese porcelain lid, dating to the Kangxi reign of the Qing dynasty (1662–1722). This domed cover is painted in soft underglaze cobalt blue, featuring a continuous design of peony scrolls with leafy tendrils, symbolizing wealth and nobility in Chinese decorative art. The central knop finial, formed as a double bud, is now partially broken but retains its original form.
